John Strong



John Strong plays the role of Julius--a sailor from the city of Patara who befriends Nicholas’ father. Later on, Julius becomes a hero to many, and a friend and mentor to young Nicholas.

Born in Toronto Canada, film and stage actor John Strong graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. His first appearance in a major film came in 2001 as an actor in Kasi Simmons’s Caveman’s Valentine. He later continued his studies at the Canadian Academy of Method Acting, gaining affiliation with ACTRA. His theatrical skills developed quickly with major roles in classics like Fiddler on the Roof, A Christmas Carol, and The Odd Couple. John currently teaches at Niagara County Community College and his recent credits include Love, Sex,& the IRS as well as appearances in commercials. He is enjoying the opportunity for self-expression afforded by the feature film Nicholas of Myra, directed by Gerald Hartke.
