Manny Psyhos

Manny Psyhos plays the role of Simon in Nicholas of Myra. It is Simon and his family who become the catalysts for one of the most cherished legends ever told about Saint Nicholas.

Manny’s love for Theatre began in the summer of 1975, when a complete stranger asked him if he’d ever thought of becoming an actor.  Spurred on by the novel suggestion, he successfully auditioned for Auntie Mame in a small community near his hometown of Hornell, NY. He has been acting ever since, performing on stage for the better part of 30 years in various roles such as Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire, Rev. Samuel Paris in The Crucible, Dr. Spivey in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Shakespeare’s Horatio in Hamlet, Prince of Denmark and Baptista in The Taming of the Shrew.

In recent years Manny began his work in film in Littleflick Pictures short film On Productivity, playing Mr. Randall, and Reunion by Wintergreen Productions. His theatrical education includes University of Rochester Summer Theatre, as well as Acting for the Camera-Master Class/Misner Technique under Frank Rossi and Voice-Actor Workshop under Toni Silveri.
